Creating a Review Feature

General Information

  • If the review context is a part, the part is automatically set as a validated object, and the corresponding information is displayed in the Review panel under Validated Objects.
  • In Design Review for Dashboard, a markup and a slide are created in addition to the review. This depends on the preferences. For more information, see Table 1.
  • If a review is already loaded in the session and if a new review is created, then the new review overwrites the old review.

Review Information

  • The maturity state and the validation state are displayed in the Review tab of the review panel.
  • The maturity states are represented using the following colors:

  • You can change the validation state by clicking the present state.
  • A warning icon () is added next to the validation state if the validation state is not consistent with status of checks under the review. The color of this icon differs depending upon the validation state. This icon is not displayed if there are no checks under the concerned review. If you hover over the warning icon, a text explaining the reason behind the warning is displayed.
