Right-click a logical reference and click Space Management.
The
Space Management dialog box with the root space and
the space hierarchy under it is opened.
From the context menu of the space structure
grid header, the Custom Views panel opens. The following
attributes are available for the selection.
- Title ( mandatory and fix)
- Revision
- Is last revision
- Modification Date
- Creation Date
- Maturity state
- Owner
- Lock Status
- Description
- Type
The selected attributes are displayed in the
Space
Management panel.

Navigate the space hierarchy and select the required spaces.
If two spaces belonging to the same hierarchy are selected, the parent is not taken
into account.

Click Assign.
The selected spaces are added. To modify design
spaces later, open the Space Management dialog box and select another
space.
Notes:
- It is not recommended to use 'Design Space Reference' present under Space
Folders.
- Assign Space panel will only show the 'Space Concept Root' and 'Design Space
References' under it. Intermediate nodes will not be shown in the panel.
- It is mandatory to have 'Design Space Reference' associated to 'Space Concept Node'
to display the structure in ' Space Management' panel.
- You can assign the 'Design Space References' from Different Space Structures to a
Logical Reference.
- Space Management panel can also be launched from grid view column hyperlink.
