About Lock and Unlock

You can lock a file so that only you can modify its contents in that file. You can unlock the file and allow other users to modify that file. Locking a revision helps in avoiding concurrent changes to the same revision by other users.

Lock and unlock operations are subject to access and permissions.

The Lock and Unlock commands are available in the context menu for a design in the MySession widget. You can also access them from the Lifecycle section of the action bar in the MySession widget.

To lock a revision through the MySession widget, you must have the latest file from that revision in your local folder. If the file available locally is not up-to-date, then you cannot lock it untill you retrieve the latest one from the revision.

Case File Status Solution
