Creating Change Actions

You can create and manage change actions for impact analysis. You can add impacted items to change actions as proposed changes to track the changes done to the items.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin:
  1. Open the required change request.
  2. Open the Impact Analysis tab.
  3. Select the required impact analysis and click Information
  4. Open the Change Action tab.

Create Change Action

You can create a change action and associate it with an impact analysis.

  1. Click Add Change Action.
  2. Enter the following details.

    Field Description
    Type Select a change action type.
    Credentials Select your credentials.
    Title Enter a title for the change action.
    Description Describe the change action.
    Severity Select a severity for the change action.
    Due Date Select a due date for the change action.

  3. Click Create and Close.

The change action is created.

Delete Change Action

You can permanently delete a change action.

  1. Select a change action and click Delete.
  2. Click OK.

The change action is deleted permanently.
