Maintaining the Connectors Administrators List

You can add and remove administrators who have the ability to manage the connectors when Enable Authentication is enabled.

This task shows you how to:

  • You must have installed the connector service.
  • You must have configured the connector and Enabled Authentication.

Adding Administrators

You can add users from the Administrator section of the Connector Configuration page.

  1. Type the 3DPassport username into the input bar.
  2. Press the green plus next to the input bar to add the username to the administrator list.
    The username appears in the box with Added to indicate that the change has not been saved. A red which allows you to remove the username without saving the change. The usernames appear in alphabetical order.
    Note: No validation is performed on the usernames.
  3. Repeat with additional usernames or remove usernames until the list is correct and make any other changes required.
  4. Press OK to save the changes.

Only those administrators listed in the administrators list are able to log in to the Connector Configuration pages to make changes.

Removing Administrators

You can remove authenticated users from the administrator's list on the Administrator section of the connectors configuration page.

  1. Click the red next to the username to remove.
    The word Deleted appears after the username to indicate that the username will be removed when the page is saved. A green plus appears to allow you to readd the username marked as deleted.
  2. Repeat with additional usernames or add usernames until the list is correct and make any other changes required.
  3. Press OK to save the changes.
    The removed usernames no longer appear in the list of administrators.

Only those administrators listed in the administrators list are able to log in to the connector configuration pages to make changes.
