Deploying the FileSys Sample Code

You can configure the FileSys connector options and test the FileSys Connector in Connected Software.

Connector Configuration
  1. Open the Connector Configuration page and select FileSys from the Connectors List at the bottom of the page.
    The FileSys Connector Configuration page opens.
  2. On the FileSys Connector Configuration page, enter the folder path for the folder to expose to the system for the Expose Path field. Press Apply to save the setting.

    Note: You can only select one folder path to expose.

  3. From the 3DExperience connected application create a repository connection to the Connector, as described in Adding a New Connector, selecting FileSys as the repository type.

    Note: The Repository Type field is a drop-down list. If FileSys does not appear in the list, verify that you have followed the instructions for Compiling the Example, and restarted your Web app server.

  4. Create a software or semiconductor item using the repository created in the previous step. The Item Address field is a select list populated with a list of child folders of the exposed path set in the FileSys connector configuration.
