Adding Extensions to Component Requests

You can add extensions to a component request using the Data Model Customization app.

Before you begin: Data Model Customization must be the active app.

  1. Select the parent package from the List of Specialization Packages.

    Note: You can create a new package using the Data Model Customization app. For more information, see Installation and Setup | Customize | 3DEXPERIENCE Platform | 3DSpace Data Model | Data Model Customization | Specialize Data Model | Specialization Types | Creating a Specialization Package

  2. Click the Extensions tab.
  3. After selecting the extension, you can add attributes to the extension.

    Note: You can create a new or sub-extension using the Data Model Customization app. For more information, see Installation and Setup | Customize | 3DEXPERIENCE Platform | 3DSpace Data Model | Data Model Customization | Specialize Data Model | Specialization Types | Creating, Editing and Deleting an Extension

Once the package is deployed, the extension is available in Component Request Administration.
