Issue Management

With Issue Management you can submit, track, prioritize, and assign issues with quick resolution processes to drive efficiency across all organizations.

This video is based on the user interface in an earlier release, but the concepts described are still valid.

Before you begin using Issue Management, follow these steps:

  1. From the Compass, select Select the Collaborative Industry Innovator.
  2. Select Issue Management.

You can open it from the Compass when you want to access it, and you can add it to a dashboard for quick access.

The general workflow for issues follows this process:

  1. A problem is discovered from design review, manufacturing, or in the field.
  2. An issue is created with contextual information, affected items, and assigned to a responsible person and organization.
  3. Cross-organizational teams collaborate to resolve the issue.
  4. The issue is closed with the right information or the start of a formal change process.
