Import History

You can view all supplier company imports, the users who performed the imports, and the date of the imports. You can use 3DSearch to search for import log files using the import filename or the users full name.

A 3DNotification is sent when the import ends or fails along with a link to download the log file. The activity is logged in the Activities tab.

To access this page, from the home page, click Configuration . Click the Import History tab.

Import History

You can view the import history.

Field Description
File Name The name of the file used by the import.
Status Indicates the status of the import:
  • In Progress
  • Completed
  • Completed with warning
  • Completed with errors
  • Failed
Note: You cannot cancel an in progress import.
Depending on the status of the import, additional information displays in the Information pane.
Import Type The type of import, which is Company.
User The person who performed the import.
Start Date The date the import started.
End Date The date the import ended, if completed.

Actions

You can perform these actions from the toolbar:

Action Description
Delete Deletes the selected import trace. You can delete an import trace when the import is completed.
Download Downloads the selected import log. You can download the log file when the import is completed.

Properties

You can select the import file name and click Information to view the file Properties in the right-side panel.

Fields Description
File Name The file name of the imported file.
Summary The total number of completed operations performed for company imports:
  • Creations - the total number of items imported.
  • Updates - the total number of updates performed on suppliers.
  • Warnings - the total number of warnings found, but do not block the import.
  • Errors - the total number of items not imported due to errors in the import file.
Note: The summary is blank if the import is in progress. The summary only displays for company imports.
Note: An error message displays if the file content is not valid.
Log File You can click Download to download the completed log file for company imports.
Note: The Download action is only available for company import.
User The person who performed the import.
Start Date The date the import started.
End Date The date the import ended, if completed.
Import Type The type of import, which is Company.
