Route Scope

Route Management lets you work with routes and tasks to accomplish a business activity. Routes can contain content that helps the route members complete their assigned tasks.

The scope for a route determines who can be assigned tasks in the route, who can access the route, and what content can be added to the route.

If you create the route with content already selected, the scope of the route is defined as the Bookmark Root or Bookmark of the content. You cannot change the scope.

Scope Description
All The route creator can add people from any company, including access roles and groups.
Organization The route creator can add only people that are members of his/her own company.
Select Scope You can choose a Bookmark Root, Bookmark, or Sub Bookmark. Based on your selection, only people who have at least Read access to that Bookmark Root or Bookmark can be added to the route, and only content from the workspace or folder can be added to the route.
