Properties

The Properties describe the route. You can view the details if you own the route, or if you are a Task Assignee in the route.

The details for the route display after creating the route, and you can view them from Route Management by clicking the name of the route.

To access this tab:

  1. Open the required route.
  2. Click .
  3. Click Properties .

Click Edit to update the properties. Some fields cannot be changed, such as the type and creation date.

Field Description
Type Shows the object type: Route.
Name The name assigned by the route creator.
Description The purpose or intent of the route.
Maturity State The current maturity state of the route.

State Description
Draft The route has been created but not started.
To Do The route has been started. You can open the route and look at the task graph to see the progress of the route tasks.
Completed All tasks in the route have been completed.

Creation Date The date the route was created.
Modification Date The most recent date that something was changed.
Owner The person who created the route.
Route Base Purpose Determines the kind of tasks included in the route.

Purpose Description
Standard The route can include tasks that require the assignee's approval or comment or tasks intended only for notification or information.
Approval The route includes only tasks that require the assignee's approval.
Review The route includes only tasks that require the assignee's comment.

Auto Stop On Rejection What happens when a task in the route is rejected:

Stop Action Description
Immediate The route stops immediately.
Deferred The route stops after other tasks at the current level are completed or rejected.

Route Completion Action Determines what happens when the route is complete:

Action Description
Notify Route Owner When all Tasks are completed, the system sends a notification to the route owner.
Promote Connected Object The system automatically promotes the object when the route is completed, assuming no other routes or requirements are blocking promotion and the route owner has promote access for the connected objects. The route owner is also notified of the route completion.

If you have already added content to the route, you can only select this option if the route owner has promote access to that object.

Revert User Group(s) Assignment Define what happens when restarting or resuming a route when a person from a user group has accepted a task:

Option Description
Retain person assigned when restarting/resuming a Route The same person who accepted the task is assigned the task when the route continues.
Reset to the original User Group(s) when restarting/resuming a Route The task is reassigned to the user group and can be accepted by any one in that user group.
