The following types of qualifications are described:
- Equivalent Qualification - Qualifies that two independent objects as equivalent of each
other. For example, a manufacturer equivalent item can be identified as an equivalent of
an engineering item. The qualification is done on the association.
- General Qualification - A qualification of an object irrespective of where the object
is. A general qualification can be related to compliance, performance, validation,
procurement, or sourcing.
- Context Qualification - The approval for the equivalent qualification in the context of
a model version, plant, or project.
