Members

The Members tab lets you view people and user groups already added as members of the qualification, add additional members, and change the access role for members. You can add people and user groups as members of a qualification and share the qualification with members in the same collaborative space.

Note: Private user groups only display for users with Viewer access to that private user group. <<No access>> displays as the private user group title for the context user without Viewer access.

To access this tab,

  1. Open the qualification. For more information, see Opening Qualifications.
  2. Click Members.

View Members

You can click Tile View to view the users or user groups in a tile or Data Grid View to view the users or user groups in a table.

The user's SWYM image displays on the tile view and displays on the data grid view. The user group image displays for user groups.

Field Description
Name The name of the member.
Type The type of member:
  • Person
  • Group
Responsibility Shows the access role for the member:
  • Viewer
  • Contributor
  • Leader
Comment Lists comments related to the member.

Add Members

If you have access, you can add members to a qualification and assign their level of responsibility.

  1. Click Add Members to add a member.
  2. In the field below the intended role for Viewer, Contributor, or Leader, enter the first or last name of the person or the user group name to add. Type-ahead is available.

    Role Description
    Viewer Viewer can see the qualification, but cannot modify it.
    Contributor Contributor can edit the content.
    Leader Leader has all rights on the qualification.

  3. Click Add.

Page Actions

You can use these toolbar actions:

Action Description For More Information
Search Searches for members based on the criteria entered. Enter at least 3 characters to search within the list.
Note: You can search by first and last name, by **, or username. The owner is excluded from the search results.

Add Members Adds one or more members to the qualification based on access roles. Add Members
Remove Member Removes the selected member. The Leader can remove a member. -
Tile View/ Data Grid View Displays the members in a tile or table. View Members
Sort Sorts the members by title in ascending or descending order. -

Context Menu

You can click or right-click the member tile to view the context menu. You can select the role to change the member's access.

Role Description
Viewer Grants Viewer access to the member.
Contributor Grants Contributor access to the member.
Leader Grants Leader access to the member.
Remove Member Removes the selected member. The Leader can remove a member.
