Specifying Item Display in Portfolio Versions or Sellable Items

You can specify how the contents of a portfolio version or sellable item are displayed in the Items tab.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open the portfolio version or sellable whose item list you want to manage. For more information, see Opening Portfolio Versions or Opening Sellable Items.

Filter Items by Title

You can filter the items by Title to reduce the number of items displayed, making it easier to locate specific items.

  1. On the page toolbar, click Search.
  2. For more information, see Filtering Listed Items by Title.

Reorder Items

You can change the order of the items in a portfolio version or sellable item. In the Grid View, items are listed top to bottom. In the Tile and Thumbnail views, they are listed left to right.

  1. From the page toolbar, click Reorder.
  2. In the Reorder panel, select the check box of an item to move, and then use the following actions to reorder the item in the list.

    Action Description
    Move Up Moves the item up one position in the list.
    Move Down Moves the item down one position in the list.

  3. Click Save.
    The list refreshes to reflect the new order. The specified order is changed if you further group or sort the items.

Group Items

When you are viewing the portfolio version or sellable item in Grid View, you can group the items by fields, such as Owner or Type.

  1. From the page toolbar, click Group by.
  2. From the list, select the column to group the items by.

    You can group the items by more than one column at a time.

  3. Optional: To ungroup the data, from the list, select the blank option.

Change the List View

You can change the view used to display the items in a portfolio version or sellable item.

  1. From the page toolbar, click icon for the current list view.
  2. Select the new list view.

    List View Description
    Grid View Items are listed top to bottom.
    Tile Item tiles are displayed left to right.
    Thumbnail Item thumbnails are displayed left to right.

Sort the Item List

You can sort the list of items in a portfolio version or sellable item by ascending or descending order of the information in any available field.

  1. From the page toolbar, click Sort.
  2. Select the field to sort the list by, then select the sort direction.

    Sort Order Description
    Ascend Sorts the selected field from A to Z if it is text or from 1 upwards if it is numerical.
    Descned Sorts the selected field from Z to A if it is text or downwards to 1 if it is numerical.
    Note: You can only sort the items by the values in one field at a time.
