Platform Management

The Platform Manager role allows administrators to manage members or user groups, assign roles, associate dashboards with custom roles, manage collaborative spaces ownership, configure content and communities in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. You can access these administration services, either through the Platform Management or Members Management dashboards or a set of widgets linked to the Platform Manager role.

Important:
  • The Platform Manager role is automatically granted to platform administrators, in particular to the first person who logs in by clicking on the link received in the email sent to initialize the platform for the very first time. To appoint yourself as the platform administrator, click the link included in the email that you receive, otherwise forward the mail to the right person. The link can only be used once.
  • You can be administrator of several platforms and must take this information into account when managing members and roles.
