Add a Story

You can add a story to provide the users of your dashboard a quick overview of its content.

Before you begin:
  • You must be owner of the dashboard.

Important: Stories cannot be created using a mobile device.

  1. From the top bar, select either of the following:

    • Dashboard Menu > Story > Add Story.
    • Add > Story.

  2. Enter a story title containing up to 50 characters.
  3. Enter a story description containing up to 500 characters.
  4. Click New Step.
  5. Select any highlighted element of the dashboard. For example, a tab.
  6. Enter a description, and if required, click New Step.

    Follow steps 5 and 6 as many times as required.

    Notes: While you edit a step, you can:
    • On the upper-right corner of the step editor, click Delete Step to delete the current step.
    • If you have already created several steps, click Next or Back to go back and forward through the steps
  7. On the upper-right corner, click Save.

    You can save your story anytime while editing it.

The story is saved. On the upper-right corner, click Close to exit the edit mode. The members of the dashboard are notified that a new story has been created. You can edit or delete it. Important: If once you have saved your story, you modify any of the user interface elements that you have mentioned, for example a tab, your story will not be displayed correctly.
