Using the Platform as a Collaborative Environment

The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is a space dedicated to your business. The apps and content available in this space depend on the license roles and responsibilities granted to you by the administrator of your platform.

You can create various types of content that you can share with other 3DEXPERIENCE platform members using apps, communities, dashboards, and collaborative spaces.

As a 3DEXPERIENCE platform member, you can be assigned different responsibilities.

Responsibility Permissions
Member

Can log in and see the responsibilities granted to them.

Can use the apps provided by the licensed roles to create and share content.

This is the default responsibility for a member of the company that owns the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Administrator

Inherits all members' capabilities.

Can invite users and grant them licensed roles and responsibilities.

Can administrate all services provided by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

Can customize their apps.

External

May have restricted responsibilities, depending on the administrator's settings.

Note: This is the responsibility for 3DEXPERIENCE platform users that are not members of the company.

On the cloud, you may be able to log in to more than one 3DEXPERIENCE platform that provides you various apps through different licensed roles. You can collaborate with different members on each 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
