Post-Installation

This section explains post-installation operations to be performed after installing HFs.

  1. Restart all application servers.

    Embedded TomEE app servers are restarted automatically, but external TomEE app servers are not.

  2. Execute post-installation commands after installing the 3DSpace service HF.

    The following dialog box is displayed when installing the 3DSpace HF:

    so the commands to be executed are: 

    MQL <1>set context person creator password ;
MQL <2>exec prog VPLMDataMigration ;
MQL <3>compil prog * force update

  3. After installing a HF, re-indexation is necessary only if data model changes are performed (either by the customer or by Dassault Systèmes (under exceptional circumstances) since modifications impact and modify existing indexes.

    Changes made by Dassault Systèmes can be identified by comparing the new Exalead.xml file on the target level with the original level.

  4. Update again any configuration files you may have customized and which may have been updated when installing the HF.
  5. Check if the http fragment files have been updated by the HF installation, and edit your reverse proxy and/or load balancer configuration if necessary.
