Editing Change Request Details

The change request (CR) owner can edit the attributes of the CR before the CR is in the Evaluation Review state.


Before you begin: Access the Change Request Properties page. See Change Request Properties Page.
  1. From the page toolbar, click Edit. You can edit these attributes:

    Attribute Description
    Change Coordinator Click to select the user responsible for the assessment and completion of the change request
    Description Add details about the change request
    Reason for Change Describe why the change is needed
    Organization Shows your company . If a change template is selected, shows the company from the template. Click to change. Search results include all organizations to which you belong.
    Reported Against Click to select the item about which the change was reported
    Category of Change Select a category to which the change order belongs
    CO Template You see this field only if Quality-based Document Control is installed.

    Click to select the change template to use when creating a change order from this CR.

    If a change order has been created for this CR, you cannot edit this field.

    Severity Select Low, Medium, or High
    Approvers Click to select the change template that specifies who is responsible for reviewing and approving the request.
    Informed Users Click to select a member list, which includes users who are notified when the change request is complete.
    Estimated Start Date Click to select when the review should start.
    Due Date Click to select when the review should be completed.

  2. Click Done.
