R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

Multilist View in the Eco-Design Assessment

As an alternative to the pie chart, you can display the consolidated metric information for a given item and its structure in a multilist view. The multilist view appears in the structural distribution in addition to the pie chart or in a dedicated tab as a spreadsheet.
This capability is accessible in the Eco-Design Assessment assessment apps only.
Benefits: The multilist view provides a single view of all the metric values.
For more information, see Display the Structural Distribution

Overload any Metric when Applying a Human Activity in Business Value Definition

You can overload the metric value either by entering a value or a percentage.
Benefits: You can overload the roll-up weight with an add-in in the context of a particular activity in the Business Value Definition. For example, a "Transport by truck" human activity can now take as an input the weight of the packaging along with the weight of the product.
For more information, see Assign Human Activities to Entities

New Version of the ecoinvent Database

The version 3.8 has been integrated to the Eco-Design Assessment app.
The ecoinvent database is a global library of human activities, which includes thousands of processes that supply goods and services across all industrial sectors. It provides datasets containing information such as gas emissions or water depletion for many kinds of activities like material extraction, processing, aircraft traveling, and recycling methods.
Benefits: You have access to the most up-to-date data worldwide about environmental impacts.
