The Mashup API provides a standardized way to search and retrieve hits from heterogeneous sources, called feeds. Feeds can be queried independently to retrieve different types of information, or nested to enrich hits from a previous feed. By default the Mashup API retrieves hits using parallel requests. If you depend on the results of a given feed to alter another feed, you can set this feed as Synchronized in the Feed settings.
