Creating Attribute Templates

Preferences lets you create preferences such as attribute templates for all the users, if you are an Administrator.

An attribute template is a set of attributes that can be applied to a bus signal, and a flow or data mapping during creation.

This task shows you how to:

Environment: On premises only

In the Preferences dialog box, select a template under the Templates node and click Create Preference .
An attribute is created and appears under the template.
Select the created attribute and edit the Title and Value fields.
From the Unit and Type lists, select values.

The following task can be used to create a type. The task for creating a unit or a template is identical.

In the Preferences dialog box, select the Types node under the Attributes node and click Create Preference .
A type is created and appears under the Types node.
Select the created type and edit its title.
