Displaying a Bus as a Connection

You can change the display mode of buses and display them as wires. This scenario describes how to display a CAN bus as connections. The scenario is nearly identical for the other kind of buses.

Before you begin:
  • Create two ECUs with a port, whose type is CAN.
  • Create a CAN bus and connect the ECUs to the bus.
  1. In the diagram, right-click the bus and select Display as Connection .
    The connections to the bus appear as straight connections.
  2. In the diagram, right-click a connection and select Display as Bus .

    Note: This command is only available for buses, which appear as wires.

    The connection display switches back to a bus display linked to ECUs.
