Creating Configuration Tables

You can create configuration tables.

Note: With the Avionics Architect (AVARA) role, you can work with applications, partitions, and configuration tables.

This task shows you how to:

Create a Configuration Table

You can create a configuration table.

From the Software tab, right-click the Configuration Tables node, select Create Configuration Table , and:
  1. Enter a title.
  2. Optional: Enter a description.

The configuration table is created and appears under the Configuration Tables node.

Create a Configuration Table Instance

You can create a configuration table instance in a software architecture, in an application, or in a partition. This scenario describes how to create and instantiate a configuration table in an application. The scenario is identical for the software architecture or the partition.

Before you begin: Create an application or an application instance. For more information, see Creating Applications.
Right-click the application, select Create Configuration Table and:
  1. Enter a title.
  2. Optional: Enter a description.

Tip: You can also use the Insert Configuration Tables command.

The configuration table appears under the Configuration Tables node. A configuration table instance is created and appears under the Configuration Tables node of the application.
