Using Network Assistant

You can analyze your electrical network to identify connectivity problems and check segment filling ratio.

  1. On the toolbar, select Electrical Connectivity.
  2. Select the root product to analyze the associated network.
Three types of colors can be applied to electrical elements in the work area reflecting their electrical connectivity status:
    • Green: entities are fully connected
    • Orange: entities are involved in a network loop
    • Red: entities are partially connected (at least one end is not connected)
  3. If needed, repair network loop or broken connectivity with the Link Segment Extremity and Edit Route commands.
  4. From the Conductors section of the action bar, select the Conductor Rooting Assistant.
  5. Select the electrical physical system in the tree.
  6. Press Ctrl and select the conductors that are not rooted.
  7. Click Route Selected Conductors Automatically.
  8. Select Segment Filling Ratio in the list.
Three types of colors can be applied to the segments in the work area reflecting their filling percentage:
    • Red: filling ratio is more than 80%. Segments are overfilled.
    • Orange: filling ratio is between 50% and 80%. Segments are optimally filled.
    • Green: filling ratio is less than 50%. Segments are underfilled.
  9. Click Filters to highlight segments according to their filling ratio.
After this analysis, you can modify segments in compliance with the conductors' number and size.
