Connecting Electrical Devices Together

Devices can be connected by selecting connection points and creating mechanical constraints.

  1. In the work area, select the first device.
  2. Hover over a second device.
    The cavity connection points available for the connection appear with green labels.

    If a cavity is already used or if no connection point is defined on the second device, a red label appears.
  3. Click a label to select an available connection point.
    Devices are connected and mechanical constraints are added to the tree under the Engineering Connections node.

    You can check connections by clicking Link Review from the standard area of the action bar and selecting your product.
