selection.
Moving the pointer over the segment end highlights the end and
shows the status of the connection.
- The green circle indicates that the segment and connector are
geometrically connected.

indicates that the two are electrically connected.
- An arrow shows the direction of connection.
The segment and connector are disconnected.

Note: For the case of geometrical link, the branch geometry is modified to
last but one routing element (as shown above). For distant link, only the
pointing extremity is selectable for the Disconnect
Segment command. And only the distant link is removed (as
shown below).
