Adding a Backshell Connection Point

You can define a backshell connection point to allow a connection with another backshell connection point.

Important: A backshell can have only one backshell connection point.

  1. In the tree or work area, select a device.

    The BackShell Connection Point Definition dialog box appears.

  2. In the Name box, type a name.
  3. Place the backshell connection point using an axis system:
    1. Select the Standard tab.
    2. Click the icon.
  4. Click OK to validate.
