After the removal of the electrical behavior of a part, why the "V_discipline" attribute cannot be changed when adding a new electrical behavior?
  1. From the Device section of the action bar, click Remove Electrical Behavior .
  2. In the tree or in the 3D area, select an electrical device or an electrically extended space reference/piping part.
A warning message informs you that this operation removes the electrical behavior and deletes any added connection points.
  3. Click Yes to confirm.

The electrical behavior and any connection points are removed.

Note: Once the value of V_discipline attribute is set, it cannot be modified. For example, if you define a 3D part as SIC (Discipline: ElecPart), launch the Remove Electrical Behavior command, and extend the 3D part as equipment, an error message is displayed because the discipline is different. As the consequence, the equipment and the new behavior are not added. After removing the electrical behavior from a device, it is only possible to add an electrical behavior with the same discipline (V_discipline). In the above example, it is possible to add an electrical behavior to a backshell, shell, contact, and filler plug, since the new discipline is "ElecPart".
