Removing Length Tolerance

LengthTolerance removes the length tolerance applied to a segment.


Before you begin: Open a document containing a flattened geometry to which length tolerance is applied.
  1. In the tree, select the segment.

    • You can also select Length Tolerance node in the tree.
    • You can also select several length tolerances.

    The segment is highlighted and the LengthTolerance flag appears.

  2. Click the Length Tolerance flag.
  3. In the Remove Length Tolerance dialog box, select the Keep the extra length that will be added to design length of segment check box to keep the added extra length, but remove the length tolerance attribute.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Right-click the segment and select Properties.

    The Properties dialog box shows that the Length Tolerance parameter is set to false, provided there is no other length tolerance applied to this segment. The Length Tolerance node is removed from the tree.

    Notes:
    • Length Tolerance attribute of the segment is set to false provided there is no other length tolerance applied to this segment.
    • Length Tolerance attribute of the branch is set to false provided there is no length tolerance applied to all segments under this branch.
