- Modify the design in the authoring view
(work area).
- Open the design in the navigation view.
- Select the electrical geometry or physical system.
- Click Impact
.
The
Impact Graph dialog box is displayed and the flattening representation appears with symbol
.
- Click the Impacted by tab and
expand the links under the flattening representation
.
For more information about links, see Assembly Design User's Guide: About Links and Relations.
- Look for the electrical physical system node
or the electrical geometry node
through the 3D design link to harness (see table below).
- Right-click this electrical geometry or physical system
and select Explore with Parent Tree.
The electrical geometry or physical system opens within the context of its parent
and both, the flattened electrical geometry and its parent appear in the navigation window.
- Use the Expand All contextual
command on the parent object.
- Select the parent product and click the
Open Advanced to open all the representations
and products under it.
The Flattening window opens.
- Click Synchronize.
The report
is automatically updated with the new content, with the new modifications
done in the 3D design.
