Mirroring Branches

You can mirror the required branch on the other side of the mirror axis.


Before you begin: Flatten the harness geometry.
  1. From the Formboard section of the action bar, click Prepare Layout .
  2. On the context toolbar, click Local mode and then Mirror .
  3. Hover over the branch to be mirrored.
    By default, a yellow sphere appears at the detected pivot that is at the farthest end of the branch or the segment.

  4. Select the flattened element.
    The yellow sphere becomes green and the impacted network is highlighted.

  5. Hover over a branch, and select it to define the reference axis.

    The preview of the flattened element, mirrored on the other side of the mirror axis, is shown.
  6. Click in work area to validate the preview.

Notes:
  • The selection of the mirror axis is dependent on the pivot position. All segments excluding the mirrored segment connected to the pivot are candidates for axis selection.
  • The rolled portion of the segment cannot be selected as the mirror axis.
  • The Mirror command cannot be used on arranged segments. These segments cannot be selected. A message appears along with an excluding sign.
