Using the Network Assistant

You can analyze the electrical network to identify and filter out connectivity problems before extracting, synchronizing content, and before flattening to check loops in the extracted content.

Before you begin: Open a product containing an electrical physical system and an electrical geometry.
  1. From the standard area of the action bar, click Network Assistant .
A dialog appears with a list.
  2. In the list, select Electrical Connectivity.
Note: There is no filling ratio checking.
  3. Select the root product to analyze the associated network.

Three types of colors can be applied to electrical elements in the 3D area reflecting their electrical connectivity status:
    • : The segment is fully connected.
    • : Open loops (with green lines) in the content.
    • : Closed loops. Segments common to open and closed loops are blue, giving preference to closed loops in visualization.
    • : The segment with unconnected end.

You can apply filters on objects according to connectivity diagnosis.

  4. Click Filters and choose one of the three filters.
    • : To clear the filters applied.
    • : To filter open loops in a network. You can visualize only those objects involved in network loops.
    • : To filter the broken electrical connectivities.
After analyzing the network, you can repair it in the Electrical 3D Design app.
