Using the Assistant Widgets

You can use the widgets in the assistant to display your logical systems in a 2D view or in columns.

Display Information in a 2D View

You can display your logical systems in a 2D view using the Schematics View widget.

  1. In the Logical to Physical Assistant panel, click Schematics View .
  2. Select a row.

    Note: If the selected row appears in multiple systems, a list of available systems appears in the widget.

  3. Optional: Select the system of interest in the list.

The selected row appears in a different color in the 2D view.

Display Information in a Column

You can display the information of a selected row in a single column.

  1. In the Logical to Physical Assistant panel, click Activate Properties .
  2. Select a row.

The widget:

  • Displays the information of the selected row in a single column.
  • Displays all columns, including the hidden columns.

Move a Widget

You can move a widget to edit its position.

  1. Activate the widget of your choice.
  2. Click on the right side of the widget.
    The widget appears in a new panel.
  3. Drag the widget at the location of your choice.
  4. Optional: To put the widget back in its original place, click the cross in the upper-right corner of the panel containing the widget.
