Creating Cable

You can create a cable to gather electrical wires or other cables.

  1. Select the type of cable to be created.
  2. Enter the necessary information.

Note: To create the cable automatically, clear the Set attributes at creation option.

  3. For cables other than coax cables: If your cable contains cables, enter the number of cables to be created in the Number of Groups box.
  4. Optional: For power cable only, you can define the section of the neutral conductor in the Additional Section box. In this case, the neutral conductor is considered as an additional wire (added to the number of conductors).
  5. For cables other than coax or power cable:
    1. In the Number of Conductors by Group box, type the desired number of wires to be created for each cable.

Important: The attributes in the Number of Conductors by Group box must be equal or superior to 1.

    2. If you want to define wires identifiers, select one the following options in the Conductors Identifier box:

Color To identify wires by their colors: Enter the desired colors in the Conductors Colors box using commas as separator between the different colors.
Order To identify wires by their order. Color attributes can also be defined for each wire.
