Connect a Route End to a Component
Before you begin: In a diagram view:

From the
Layout section of the action bar,
click Connect Symbols
.
The command is active.

Select the connection point of the component to be connected.

Note:
If both ends are unconnected, the route end closest to your pointer is selected.
The selected end is highlighted by a green circle.

Select the
route unconnected end.

The route end is connected to the component. 
Disconnect a Route End
Before you begin: In a diagram view: - Instantiate a symbol with
a connection point
- Instantiate a route line with at least one end connected to a symbol.

From the Layout section of the action bar, click Disconnect Symbols
.
The command is active.

Select the route line.

Note:
If both ends are connected, the route end closest to your pointer will be disconnected.
The selected end is highlighted by a green circle.
The route end and the component are disconnected.
