Listing Unpaired Sheet Connectors

You can list all the sheet connectors that are not paired. The verification is done on all the sheet connectors loaded in session.

Note: For nets and net groups, each sheet connector symbol that is not paired with another is considered as orphan.

Before you begin: In a diagram view,
  • Create and place equipment.
  • Create and connect a wire to the equipment and end the other extremity as a sheet connector.
  1. From the Layout section of the action bar, click Check Sheet Connector .
  2. In the Check Offsheets dialog box, select the Check all orphan offsheets in session option in the list.

Note: Nets and net groups can have multiple paired sheet connector symbols placed in diagram views. Each sheet connector symbol that is not paired with another is considered as an orphan.

  3. Select one or several routable.
    Appear in the right area.
  4. The following actions can be performed:
    • To replace the displayed representation by the default representation (with unresolved text templates) defined in Data Setup, click Reset Sheet-Connector.
Note: If no representation is defined in Data Setup, the default symbol replaces the current representation.
    • To highlight the selected sheet connector in the diagram view, click Switch to View.
      Notes:
      • When several orphan sheet connector symbols have been found for a net or net group, the result is displayed in a combo box. In this case, the required sheet connector must be selected from the combo box before clicking Switch to View.
      • If the selected sheet connector is in another diagram view, the command opens the diagram view containing the sheet connector.
    • To route the other extremity of the selected routable, click Complete Route, and then select a connection point. Click the diagram view to place the sheet connector.
