Technological Table

In the net to wire process, tables are used to define the correspondences between logical and physical.

Use the basic table for the tables described below.

Table Name Description Mandatory Columns Names Criteria
Physical to Logical Table When you want to add a new production break or terminal block, you must select a physical connector from the library or from Engineering Specification Capture & Reuse. The corresponding logical connector is retrieved from the Engineering Specification table.

When you select a physical connector for a terminal block or a production break, the part number of the physical object is saved in the Predefined part number attribute of the instantiated logical object. It ensures a traceability and consistency.

LogicalPN: Lists the attributes of the logical connectors. The value in the Criteria attribute must be LogicalConnectorTable.
PhysicalPN: Lists the part number of the corresponding physical connectors.
Compatible Connector Table When you want to find a compatible connector (for a physical connector on an interface volume or for an equipment connector port), you need to create a table referencing compatible part numbers compatible.
Important: A couple of compatible connectors must be defined twice on the table.
Input PN: References input predefined part number to find its compatible connector. The value in the Criteria attribute must be ConnectorCompatibility.
Output PN: Retrieved predefined part number
Cable Table Lists the different types of part types that can be returned. Cable Code: Lists the Cable Family attributes of Net groups The value in the Criteria attribute must be CableTypeTable.
Cable Type: Type of logical cable to be used
Gauge Computation Table Computes the gauge, diameter, section and linear mass of cables for a given current. Nominal current: maximal nominal current The value in the Criteria attribute must be NominalCurrentTable.

The value in the Techno table description must be the material of the table retrieved in Cable Table

Gauge: gauge for the current
Optional: Diameter: External diameter for the current
Optional: Section: Cross section for the current
Optional: Linear: Linear mass for the current
Contact Table Retrieves the contact type according to the cable code and wiring number. Cable Code: Lists the Cable Family attributes of logical cables The value in the Criteria attribute must be Generic.
Wire NB: Lists the number of wires for cables
Contact Type: Retrieved contact type
