-
If you have defined a frame symbol in the TitleBlock For
Printing resource, it will appear in this list. Select the symbol in the
list and click Update preview. For more
information, see Diagram Resources.
The preview is updated with the appropriate frame symbol is selected according
to the defined frame format and orientation.
-
Click OK to launch the printing dialog box.
Notes:
- Printing properties can differ from one printer to another. Review the page setup
(format and orientation) defined in the printer dialog box before launching the
printing process.
- When printing the content of a diagram view, lifecycle information (maturity,
revision, ..etc.) cannot be displayed using text templates.
Trouble ?
- The preview is not updated with the expected frame and titleblock symbol: Only one
symbol per format/orientation combo should be defined. If more than one symbol is defined
in the TitleBlock For Printing resource, the first symbol is
selected.
- The frame is no longer visible in the preview: Changing the orientation or the frame
format after adding the frame removes the frame from the preview. If a frame symbol with
the format and orientation settings is defined in the Titleblock For
Printing resource, it will be selected.
- The visual in the preview differs from the diagram view: certain elements like ports or
the snapping grid are not to be printed.
- Some parts of the diagram view are missing after printing: In the preview, the frame
symbol will be placed over the selected content of the diagram view. During the printing
process, the content of the diagram view located under the frame symbol is cropped to
display only the frame.
