Issue 3D Review

Issue 3D Review lets you identify and visually analyze issues with 3D context to facilitate early discovery problems for downstream processes.

On the cloud only: If you have the 3D Visualization for all license, you can load an entire product structure for reviewing and reporting any issues found. Browsers and devices may not support the memory required by large data structures; the 3D Visualization for all license lets you work with these large structures.

To use Issue 3D Review, follow these steps:

  1. From the Compass, select the Collaborative Industry Innovator license role.
  2. Select Issue 3D Review.

You can open it from the Compass when you want to access it, and you can add it to a dashboard for quick access.

The general workflow for issues follows this process:

  1. A problem is discovered from design review, manufacturing, or in the field.
  2. An issue is created with contextual information, reported against an object, and assigned to a responsible person and organization.
  3. Cross organizational teams collaborate to resolve the issue.
  4. The issue is closed with the right information or the start of a formal change process.
