About Points of Interest

In 3D Navigate, you can display Points of Interest (POIs). The POIs are data that you can add inside the widget using a third-party software.

When open an object that has POIs in 3D Navigate, these POIs are displayed by default.

If this object has several POIs, you can regroup them in clusters. There are two types of clusters:

  • An automatic cluster, that groups POIs that are located in the same area of the 3D viewer.
  • A static cluster, that groups POIs when they are placed close to each other.
The number of POIs grouped in a cluster that is displayed on the main pin can only go up to 999. If 1000 POIs or more are regrouped, 999+ is displayed in the bubble on top of the pin.

When you select a POI in the Point of Interest panel, the view is reframed on the selected POI and the object it is attached to in the 3D viewer.

A vast library of icon is available in the external app to let you customize the POIs.
