Creating or Editing Part Filters

You can create and edit a part filter from a list of predefined part filter types available in your session. These predefined filters are sorted in different categories, according to the engineering domain they are related to. Each of them corresponds to a specific technological context.

Create a Part Filter

You can create a part filter from a list of predefined part filter types.

  1. In the top bar, select Add > New Content.
  2. Navigate to access the required category of objects.
  3. Select the part filter you need.
  4. Click OK.

Edit a Part Filter

You can edit the list of returned part types and parameters of part filters.

  1. Click Edit Filter .
  2. In the Edit Part Filter Properties dialog box, edit the list of returned part types or parameters of your choice.
  3. Click OK.

Edit a Filter with a Part Type Link

You can link a basic filter to the column of a string type table. You can then structure a direct link between your filter and your table, and edit the list of returned part types.

  1. Click Edit Filter .
    The Edit Part Filter Properties dialog box appears and lets you configure the link between your objects.
  2. From the Linked Table list, select the table you want to link to your filter.
  3. From the Linked Column list, select a column from the linked table.
    The Part Types list returns the values associated with the column.
  4. From the Part Types list, select a value and click OK.
