Duplicating a Part Filter

You can clone a part filter contained into another specification if you need some of its filter units. This avoids creating a part filter and having to fill all of its attributes before duplicating the units from one part filter to the other one.

Before you begin: Open a part filter.

  1. In the Engineering Specification Data tree, double-click a part filter to edit it.
  2. From the Engineering Specification Edition section of the action bar, click Create Subfilter .
    The part filter is duplicated in the Engineering Specification Tree and opened for edition. You can modify it to remove or add filter units and then insert it in a specification.
    Note: The created part filter has been cloned from the original one.
