Synchronizing Filter Units

When the filter units are in Formula Asynchronized, you can synchronize them to refresh the list of returned parts. The new list of returned parts is based on the formula that is associated with the filter units. Whenever the datasource content changes, synchronize the filter units to refresh the list of returned parts.

Synchronize all Filter Units

You can synchronize all filter units opened in your session.

From the Engineering Specification Edition section of the action bar, click Synchronize Session Unit Filters .

Synchronize Selected Filter Units

You can synchronize the filter units you selected.

  1. In the Part Filters node of the tree, select the filter units you want to synchronize.
    You can also select a specification, a filter or a part filter from the tree.
  2. From the Engineering Specification Edition section of the action bar, click Synchronize Selected Filter Unit .
    Note: If no filter units have been selected, then all the filter units with the asynchronized mode are synchronized.
