Selecting Cells in Technological Table

You can select multiple cells, a block of cells or multiple blocks using Ctrl and Shift.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a technological table.

Select Multiple Cells

You can select multiple cells using Ctrl.

Select a cell.
To add another cell to your selection, press Ctrl and select a cell.
The cell is added to the selection.
Press Ctrl and select any cells you want to add to your selection.

You can select a block of cells using Shift.

Select a cell.
Press Shift and select another cell.
A block is selected from the first selected cell to the second one.
To change the block size, keep Shift pressed and select a cell.

You can select multiple blocks of cells using shift.

Select a cell.
Press Ctrl and click a second cell on the same row.
Press Shift and select a cell on the same column than one of the previous selected cells.
All cells in both columns are selected up to the last selected cell.
To change the selection size, keep Shift pressed and select a cell.

Note: This kind of selection can also be applied to rows.
