Creating Technological Tables

You can create a technological table from a list of predefined tables stored in the database. These predefined tables are sorted in different categories, according to the engineering domain they are related to. Each of them corresponds to a specific technological context.

  1. In the top bar, select Add > Content.
    The New Content dialog box appears.
  2. Navigate to access the required category of objects.

    For example, if you are working in a piping app go to the Piping and Tubing Physical Engineering Specification category in which you can find all predefined piping tables.

  3. Select the technological table type you need.

    For reference information, see Technological Tables.

  4. Click Ok to confirm the creation.
    The table is opened in your session and its name appears in the Technological Tables node of the tree.

You can now edit the table by:

  • Inserting and moving rows.
  • Inserting and moving columns.
  • Entering data.
  • Linking it to other technological tables.

When the table is complete, in the top bar, select Share > Save > Save with Options.
