Create a Table from Disk
You can create a technological table from a file on your disk.
- In the top bar, select Add > Create Tables from files.
- From the Create Tables from files dialog box, select the From Disk tab.

In the Input Format list, select the type of format for your
table.
Note: By default, it is formatted as an Engineering Specification table.
- In the Discipline list, select the discipline to import a file from.

Select a table type.
Important: The table type changes according to the input format you select. If you select:
- Formatted as Engineering Specification, the file name must comply with the format of an Engineering Specification table.
- Formatted as Resource Set, the file name must comply with the format of the former resource set.

Select the file to import.
The Result Preview displays the expected characteristics for the table and the list of required columns.
Note: When you select Formatted as Engineering Specification, the Result Preview only indicates the existing columns in your file.Missing columns appear as customer columns with some default value.
- Click OK to create the technological table.
