Cutting, Copying and Pasting in Technological Table

You can cut, copy, or paste cells in the same technological table or in another technological table.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a technological table.

Cut

You can cut rows or columns.

Select the rows or columns to cut.

Note: You can perform Cut on entire rows or columns only.
From the standard area of the action bar, click Cut .
The row or the column is removed from the technological table.

You can copy any selection of cells.

Select the cells to copy.
From the standard area of the action bar, click Copy .

Note: Copied cells are stored in the clipboard.

You can paste a cell or multiple cells on the same technological table or from a technological table to another technological table.

Cut or copy the cells to paste.
Select a cell in the target technological table.
From the standard area of the action bar, click Paste .
Notes:
- If there are empty rows in your selection, these rows are removed before pasting.
- You can click Paste > Paste Special > Insert Copied Cells to insert the copied selection under the selected cell.
Important: Target cells are automatically found using the matching column types. Paste is allowed only if all the copied columns find a match.
