Global Export from Collaborative Space

You can export the whole content of a given Collaborative Space to some files using the PLM Batch monitor. Content is split into packages, which are completed before being exported to 3D XML.

CATUTIL enables you to run PLM batch files using the Batch Monitor. For more information about CATUTIL and CATBatchStarter, see Native Apps Common Services User Guide: Other Services: Batches and Plug-in Methods: Running the Downward Compatibility Batch.

From the CAT Util user interface, select "Global Export from Collaborative Space". Then, associate an XML input file or define a new one by filling in all required information in the "Global Export from Collaborative Space" dialog box.

In the Export from Collaborative Space dialog box, define the Batch parameters by entering the Collaborative Space name that corresponds to the workspace value of the logon credentials that is Project 1. Then, enter your Output directory path and click Run.

Set an Output directory path per Collaborative Space.

A report displays a status of the list of 3D XML files that gets created with the retrieved data. An XML file with the list of objects corresponding to each package is also generated.
