Running the FBDI Batch

You can use the FBDI batch to migrate CATIA and non-CATIA documents to 3DEXPERIENCE. The Batch Monitor is a platform for migrating documents to 3DEXPERIENCE.

The FBDI batch uses the data access services to read file-based documents. It also uses the connection services to write 3DEXPERIENCE content (data) in the database. The FBDI batch can be launched in the Batch Monitor without loading its user interface.

Note: You cannot use this batch with a shareable license.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin:

Launch the Batch Monitor from an interactive CATIA session by launching CATUTIL outside the session.
